At present there is no joining fee, though the Club Rules do provide for this.

METHOD OF JOINING

An application form (see below) has to be completed for each applicant - though husbands and wives/partners may submit a joint application.

A proposer and seconder is required for each application other than for junior applicants. These persons have to be Club members who have been members in their own right for at least one year. If you know no-one who fits the bill as proposer or seconder, do not be disheartened - contact the Club Secretary who will be happy to advise you on the procedure under such circumstances.

The fully completed application form together with the appropriate subscription payment, should be submitted to the Club Secretary. NB. The subscription payment will not be lodged in the Club's bank account until the application has been approved.

Subject to the requirement that the application form has to be displayed in the Clubhouse for at least 14 days before the relevant Committee Meeting, the application will be heard at the next Management Committee Meeting (usually held on the fourth Tuesday of each month).

To get an application form from the Club Secretary either call in to the Club, write, 'phone or e-mail (remembering to provide a “snail-mail” address)
